Barton St Peter's School Council
At Barton St Peter's our pupils have an important role to play in issues that affect the children themselves. We value the opinions and suggestions made by pupils and encourage them to be responsible members of our school community. Two representatives from each house are chosen by their peers each Autumn term in a democratic election.
The school council then meet with Miss Brack to discuss issues that are arising around the school and to share the views of their class. In addition the school council take part in community events and attend the Local Schools' Forum where they get the chance to put the ideas of young people to the Town Council.
