St Peter's House System
Our school has adopted a house system with the houses named after birds. This theme was chosen by the children in 2018 when we first moved to having a house system. Children are allocated to a house shortly after they join the school. Siblings are in the same houses. House points are awarded for such things as demonstration of the school's Christian values, good behaviour and good work.
House points are collected weekly by the house captains and a running total displayed in the hall. At the end of the term a cup will be presented to the winning house with the appropriate ribbons. Houses will be used on sports' days also.
We feel that having a house system supports our school vision and values as the children have another reason to shine and a way of celebrating their success and also having their house "family" is another source of support, giving them a firm foundation within school life.
